– This New World Opportunistic Burrower is from the Caribbean island of Hispaniola.
– The adult size is 8″+.
– As adults, the carapace is black with copper highlights. Femurs are velvety dark blue. The rest of the tarantula shows shades of gray with beige to white setae, and the males increasingly get a beautiful emerald green.
