2. Begonia ferox is a rare, slower growing species of Begonia. It has incredible leaf patterns and is prized amongst collectors. The leaves have raised portions giving it an amazingly unique texture. It is exceptionally slow to root compared to many other Begonia. It is prized amongst many Begonia keepers.
Habitat:
1. High humidity:75-95%
2. Rich, moist to wet soil
3. Light: Low – Medium
It does well in bright, indirect light and moderate to high humidity, but appreciates airflow. Moist soil and sphagnum moss are helpful for rooting this species.
