1.Taxiphyllum sp. “Flame Moss”, Flame moss is the most unique moss among other mosses cultivated in the aquarium. While majority of the mosses extensively branch out in different directions, the Flame moss grows strictly upwards, just like a stem plant. The fronds twist as it grows and thus resembling the flame. Another distinctive feature of this moss is a dark green color.

2.The care is relatively easy. It doesn’t not require CO2 if the water has low pH and kH. But if the pH is high then the carbon dioxide should be supplied in the amount enough to lower the pH down to at least 7.5. Small dosage of fertilizer can improve its appearance, but generally it is not necessary.
