Description:

1.Also known as Orange Chevron, Red Treespider, French Guyanese Orange Tree Spider.

2.This New World arboreal tarantula is from Venezuela, French Guiana, & Suriname.

3.Tapinauchenius are FAST moving as spiderlings (THE fastest tarantula, in our experience), and have a tendency to jump.  As they mature, they become less skittish.  If startled, it will make a short sprint.  This is not a defensive tarantula, and it is doesn’t have urticating hairs.

4.The t. gigas is the largest Tapinauchenius, reaching 6″ as adults.
