• Cuora bourreti also known commonly as Vietnamese flowerback box turtle and the Indochinese box turtle
• The plastron is light yellow with black spots. The head is yellow with dark spots; the throat is orange-red. Limbs dark brown with bright red or yellow spots
• The C. bourreti,  C. galbinifrons and C. picturata are similar. The difference between the three is that the Cuora galbinifrons has a completely black plastron, while the other two have a light yellow plastron with large black spots. The head color of the Cuora bourreti is brighter, the body is larger than the Cuora picturata’s body, and it is elongated and oval.

Adult carapace length: 15 – 22cm

Diet: Turtle pellets, insects, fish, shrimp, vegetables, tomatoes, fruits, etc.

Temp: 22 – 30 °C

Humidity: 65%-80%

Breeding season: from June to October every year. Generally, 2 eggs are laid each time. The eggs are white and oblong
