Megaphobema robustum is a very impressive and interesting species of bird spider with females reaching around 20cm (8 inches) when full grown. Their dark coloration contrasting with various hues of light browns and reds make this tarantula a rather large piece of eye-candy. They are opportunistic burrowers and enjoy moving things around when they feel like it.
