The Chinese box turtle also known as the yellow-margined box turtle, or golden-headed turtle, is a species of Asian box turtle.

The carapace of an adult turtle is round, with a raised center, crimson color, and a light yellow ridge in the center. The plastron is black, without spots, with yellow edges; the top of the head is light olive green, and there is a golden stripe on the eye socket, which grows from thin to thick and extends to the neck. The left and right stripes meet at the top of the head and then connect to form a U-shaped stripe.
