Description

Distribution & Habitat:

• Known only from Hainan Island, especially around Fucheng area, primarily at low elevations (approximately 50–200 m above sea level).

• Inhabits streamside environments—its typical microhabitat includes muddy banks and cavities beneath stones, used for shelter and breeding.
